Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit our website! I am very excited to be a third grade teacher this year and hope for a fun filled, actioned packed year of learning experiences!

 

I have lived in Nebraska my whole life and it is my favorite place to be.  I went to the University of Nebraska at Kearney where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Education with a minor in art in 2003. My Masters is in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State College (2011). I have taught at West Lawn my whole teaching career but I have varied experience from third, fourth and fifth grades to the integration specialist.  I love teaching at West Lawn. 

 

Outside of the classroom, I live on a farm with calves, donkeys and chickens.  My husband, Shawn, and I have renovated our 100 year old farm house. Logan, my son, will be in second grade this year and he teachs me as much as my students. We love camping and we spend the summer going to many Nebraska state parks.
